    Uses:

Our RRC-MIXDISH1 is perfect for mixing small amounts of epoxy or paint in quantities up to about 1/2 oz. For larger quantities up to about 3.25 oz. use RRC-MIXDISH2. Both of these mixing dishes can be cleaned up and reused or discarded after use. Our mixing sticks work with both mixing dishes and can be wiped off and reused or discarded.

    Helpful Hints:

We have tested our mixing dishes with our various Z-POXY products and Finishing Resin. Given the variety of paints, we are not able to test all paints. We recommend testing small amounts of paint or other products being mixed before mixing larger quantities. Ensure that the mixing dishes and sticks are compatible with whatever you are mixing. The key to mixing epoxies and resins is to mix in the correct proportions according to the instructions. Using a mixing dish and small postal scale is a simple way to get things right. Place the mixing dish on the scale and zero the scale. Review the instructions supplied with the material to be mixed. For materials that require equal amounts of Part A and Part B, add X weight of Part A and then add the same X weight of Part B. For materials with unequal amounts of Part A and Part B, add X weight of Part A and then add the appropriate weight of Part B using the ratio specified in the instructions. Now mix with confidence that you have the ratios correct. This technique works well for materials having similar specific gravity values... i.e. A volume of Part A and a Volume of Part B have similar weights.
